The AT33 EV is the only motor testing instrument made for testing the special permanent magnet motors and motor generators used in electric & hybrid vehicles.

The static test measures resistance, inductance, impedance, capacitance, and phase angle. The dynamic test analyzes resistance, stator, rotor, and contamination.

The electrical health of all motor components is evaluated including stator windings, rotor, contaminations, ground faults, and connections.

Typically there are two sets of windings on a single phase motor Start/Run. Any capacitor must be disconnected. First, measure the start winding. With the run winding engaged, take your next set of readings. These can be trended over time or compared to a known good motor of the exact same kind.

No. The AT31™ should never be used while plugged into the charger.
Failure of the battery to hold a charge cold indicate needed battery replacement or a problem with the charger power supply. Contact for guidance.

No. The AT31™ uses a 9 pin db connector and only leads provided by ATP should be used.


ALL-TEST PRO 33 EV™ Software

Optional AT33 EV Software is available.

The instrument can quickly upload test data and compile reports, which can be further analyzed by a technician and compared to prior data of the same motor (or motor of the same model) to create a history of any problems and solutions (available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese).
